Our customer: Futurehope Organisation (Hertford)
The project: A double-decker Youth bus
Customer’s brief:
Futurehope needed a bus with a cafe bar area, one to one room for private consultations, an area for relaxing with play stations and TV and a meeting/prayer room.
Coachbuild Quality’s solution:
CCoachbuild Quality suggested that we have a few meetings in the early stages so that we could get the layout and the design of the bus just right. This enabled us to make the most use of the available space in the bus.
CQ then proceeded to:
- Remove the existing fixtures and fittings
- Fit the lighting systems & roof vents
- Fit carpet to walls / cupboards
- Fit hardwearing vinyl to lower deck and hardwearing carpet upper deck
……and, using bright and practical materials, created:
- seating and café area at the rear of the lower deck
- Seating and TV / Play station area at the front upper deck
- One to one area and meeting area upper deck
The outcome:
A youth bus which will help children and young adults in the Hertford area
