Our customer: Barnet Community Transport Association
The project: A single-deck Youth bus
Customer’s brief:
Barnet Community Transport Association needed a multi purpose vehicle for the youth in the Barnet community. The vehicle needed to be a comfortable place to relax with the capability for IT learning and fun.
Coachbuild Quality’s solution:
Coachbuild Quality, Barnet CTA and Studio Seven Design all sat down and worked out the best layout for the bus. Jason from Studio Seven worked out the design and layout for the vehicle and with a few meetings we transferred the ideas into reality with the ROLLINGBASE Youth bus
CQ then proceeded to:
- Line the walls/floor and ceiling
- Fit a generator and air conditioning unit
- install heating & lighting systems / roof vents

- ……and, using bright and practical materials, created:
- LCD flat screens with surround sound and viewing facilities
- Comfortable and luxurious seating
- Studio lighting and sound capabilities
……externally, CQ added:
- side awning
- paintwork & vinyl livery
- CCTV & reversing camera
The outcome:
An all purpose Youth bus to relax and learn while having fun with friends.
